For that extra special occasion or just catching up with a friend, a traditional afternoon cream tea does it with style.
We like to keep with tradition, so our tables are laid out with our best china tea sets and the food is served on pretty cake stands and vintage platters to create that sense of occasion.
A typical cream tea would consist of a mini sweet scone with jam and clotted cream and a selection of homemade cakes, mini cheese and chive scone, quiche and a selection of finger sandwiches.
Tea, coffee and a pitcher of elderflower presse is also included.
For those extra special occasions we can do a glass of prosecco or offer corkage on champagne.
We can cater for large parties, weddings, christenings, baby showers, birthdays or leaving parties.
Bookings and payment must be at least 48 hours in advance.
Gift Vouchers for our cream teas are also available to purchase.

We cater within the Bakehouse for small to medium group bookings within normal opening hours. The set menu afternoon cream tea is a perfect choice for many of those special occasions. If you require a cake with candles please let us know.
